Immigrant Legal Representation, and Dinner
In the 2 1/2 years that I have participated with JFON, I have seen us provide the most practical help to low-income immigrants. This has included mothers trying to reunite with their children being detained near the border, and LGBTs seeking asylum here from harsh situations in their home countries.

Others have met with elected officials asking them to oppose CHA’s plans for Lathrop. And many have stood up for the Keep the Promise Ordinance that would hold the CHA accountable to their mission.
